Celebrate Primary Elections with the Anne Arundel County Republican Party
The Republican Primary election is upon us and all our candidates are working hard for every vote in our Party. As we all know, early voting begins on September 3 and the Primary Election is on September 14.
Late that night, we will probably know who received the most Republican votes in each race and who will be moving on to face the Democrats in the November 2 General Election.
To celebrate our winners and bring everyone together for the common cause of electing all our Republican candidates in November, the Central Committee has planned our Republican Unity Breakfast for Thursday, September 16 from 7:30 am to 9:30 am at the Chartwell Country Club in Severna Park. Tickets are $20.10 per person.
All funds raised from this event will be combined with our other Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner funds for the benefit of all Republican candidates in our get-out-the-vote efforts.
You can purchase tickets using PayPal or a credit card by clicking here or send a check payable to RSCCAAC, PO Box 127, Riva, MD 21140.

What an exciting time to be a Republican in Anne Arundel County! Your Republican Party is actively working to prepare for the upcoming 2010 elections. Our goal over the next several months is to continue to register new voters, recruit and train more candidates, and elect and re-elect more Republicans to public office. All of this while continuing to promote the ideals and values of our Republican Party.
The Republican Party is strong and effective in Anne Arundel County. Our goal in 2010 is to maintain and build upon our majority. We are the Party of our County Executive, John Leopold, and we also have a majority of Republicans on the County Council with Ed Middlebrooks, Ron Dillon, Cathy Vitale, and Trish Johnson. We also have a number of elected Republicans in the Courthouse offices as well. In the House of Delegates and State Senate, we are represented in Anne Arundel County by seven House Republicans and two State Senators. With only five House Democrats and two State Senators, one would assume we are the majority party in Anne Arundel County. However, with Democrat rules in place, our majority is diluted by House Democrats from border Counties who have small constituencies in our County. We can only obtain a true majority by electing more Republicans in Anne Arundel County.
Ours is the party of Lincoln and Reagan and we subscribe to their ideals of a strong union, limited government, and individual freedom. We are the party of fiscal responsibility, a strong national defense, and free enterprise. If you share our beliefs, become an active member of the Republican Party in Anne Arundel County
The Central Committee holds our meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at 7 pm at the MD GOP Headquarters, 15 West Street, Annapolis, Maryland. The public is invited. There are also a number of Republican Clubs that meet throughout the County at different times and locations. And there are also a number of very qualified candidates in several local races that you can help with as well. So get involved now! |
