REPUBLICAN STATE CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY ENDORSES

ALISON ASTI FOR ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE

Annapolis, MD (August 18, 2010) – At the regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Republican State Central Committee of Anne Arundel County, Alison Asti, candidate for Circuit Court Judge discussed with the Committee her qualifications for Judge. A motion in support of Ms. Asti was proposed by Central Committee member Bill Voelp of District 31 and seconded by Eric Flamino, Central Committee Member from District 21. The motion in support of Ms. Asti was approved by acclamation. In this resolution Alison Asti, who was present at this meeting, was formally endorsed for her campaign to sit as a judge on the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court by the Republican Central Committee of Anne Arundel County.

The resolution in its entirety is below:

Whereas, Alison Asti is the most qualified candidate in the Race for Anne Arundel County Circuit Court Judge, And;

Whereas, Alison Asti is the only Republican in the Race for Anne Arundel County Circuit Court Judge, And;

Whereas, the Primary Election for the Judge can be a General Election if the same two candidates win on both the Democrat and Republican ballots,

Be it hereby resolved that,

Alison Asti is endorsed in her candidacy for Anne Arundel County Circuit Court Judge in the 2010 Election, And;

That the Republican State Central Committee of Anne Arundel County issue a press release of the endorsement, And;

That the Republican State Central Committee of Anne Arundel County supports Alison Asti throughout the County.
