Those who accept a nomination must agree to create a campaign account, which requires a Treasurer who is a Maryland registered voter and file a state ethics disclosure prior to going to the appropriate Board of Elections.
We are seeking candidates for the following positions:
- Clerk of the Circuit Court
- Register of Wills
- State’s Attorney
- House LD 21 (0 for 3 seats)
- House LD 30A (0 for 2 seats)
- House LD 33A (0 for 1 seat)
- House LD 33C (0 for 1 seat)
- Senate LD 12 (0 for 1 seat)
To complete the process, filing must be done in person for county candidates at the County Board of Elections and for state candidates at the State Board of Elections prior to 4:30 pm on Tuesday, March 10th.
Candidate Information Sheet, picture identification and the signed nomination form from the Committee are the final pieces required.
